Instructions to obtain consent

Properties registered with Lighthouse Registry carry a restriction on title. Our consent is needed before a transfer or charge on the property can be registered. Here’s how to request it.

What to send

Email your request to and include:

  • The purpose for which consent is being sought
  • The parties to the proposed transaction
  • The details of each party’s lawyer or representative
  • The property address and PIN

What happens next

We confirm we received it. You’ll get a reply within one business day.

We verify the transaction. We confirm the request with the registered owner before giving consent.

We send our response. Usually within 5 business days. Please allow time for this before your closing date.
